Eco-Ment has been developed not only to reduce carbon emission quantity but also to improve the early age strength and to reduce construction duration. It is a pre-mixed product of some various additive and early-strength improved material to exert quality equals or superiors which can be an alternative for about 20~30 percent of cement in cold environments.
Environment-friendly Eco-Ment is applicable for the use in binders for building ready-mixed concrete, binders for civil soil stabilization, and is also being developed for multipurpose use in the construction sites.
We have an agreement with a construction company for the joint research program to develop customized solidifying agent for soil stabilization in two different methods of construction – surface reinforcement and slurry deep mixing to meet the social demands of conversion from cement products to the environment-friendly products.
Binder of cement for Ultra-high-strength is manufactured by close packing through dispersion of microfine binder such as high quality OPC and silica fume with the application of maximum ball-bearing effects. We sort out silica fume which shows the most optimum grading and dispersibility through the qualification test and it is dispersed evenly by high-efficiency solid mixer. Ultra-high-strength concrete shows low viscosity and high liquidity even when the binder proportion in the cement is relatively low and consequently, it is well used in production of high quality ultra-high-strength concrete and also demonstrates higher performance in construct ability when building skyscrapers.
We are becoming the leading cement company in the product line of ultra-high-strength/ultra-low-heating binder. We have supplied ultra-high-strength cement to construction site at Mok-dong Trapalace and Song-do 1st World and we are the sole source for four-component premix ultra-low-heating cement for Jamsil Supertower. All these have been possible because GPC is active in operation to manufacture various special cement to meet the latest requirements for more complex, larger, and higher buildings.
Moreover, there are various new products, ocher cement, binder of low-carbon low-heating, ocher mortar for cavity filling, eco high-performance mortar for floor, vegetation concrete, and special mortar which are in development and we are dedicated to developing environment-friendly and customized products through rigorous joint R&D efforts with the construction companies.
